My journey with die-cast models began almost by accident. About eight years ago, I bought my very first model — a GAZ M-21. It was a spontaneous purchase, one of those small, unplanned decisions that somehow end up shaping your life. Not long after, I bought another one, also without much thought. For the next few years, those two models sat quietly on a shelf, almost forgotten — a small beginning waiting for its moment.
Then came October 2016. I’m not sure what exactly sparked it, but something reignited that quiet fascination. What had been a passing interest suddenly became a passion. From that moment on, collecting die-cast models wasn’t just a hobby — it became a part of who I am.
Today, after years of searching, trading, and discovering, my collection has grown to over 1,000 models. About 90% are in 1:43 scale, while the rest are 1:24 and 1:35. Each model carries a memory — of where I found it, how I felt, or why it stood out to me. Together, they form more than just a collection; they tell the story of my journey — one filled with patience, nostalgia, and an enduring love for these little pieces of automotive history
